Roz is the newest member of the Tortuga Financial team, joining our family in May of 2023 after a 25-year career as a City of Boca Raton Police Officer.   She can be described as strong, patient, and brimming with enthusiasm.  As our Director of Community Relations, Roz develops and maintains relationships with local community partners. 

She has a passion to raise the financial acumen of those who may not have access to financial professionals, as well as sharing her valuable life lessons.   She credits her 9^th Grade English teacher with inspiring her to live her dreams, which began as a relationship banker, and manifested into a 25-year career as a police officer. 

Roz grew up in the Fort Lauderdale area and has three children and four grandchildren.  She currently resides in Delray Beach.  When not working, she enjoys home improvement, traveling on cruise ships, and may be found seeking out items of character at local shops.  She also volunteers at Florence Fuller Child Development Center and Sweet Dream Makers.

Favorite Sea Creature: “The sponge. Sponges come in many shapes, sizes, textures, and colors. They adapt to their environment and can survive in numerous aquatic conditions.”
